According to the SMM survey, as of Monday (December 2), the total zinc ingot inventory in the seven regions surveyed by SMM was 99,900 mt, a decrease of 8,300 mt compared to November 25 and a decrease of 4,300 mt compared to November 28, indicating a reduction in domestic inventory. Inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin all recorded decreases. Firstly, there was no improvement in warehouse arrivals in these three regions over the weekend. Additionally, zinc prices fell sharply from their high levels last Thursday, leading to active pricing by downstream enterprises on Thursday and Friday based on futures prices, and continuous goods pick-up over the weekend, resulting in further inventory reductions in these three regions. Overall, the original three-region inventory decreased by 4,200 mt, and the seven-region inventory decreased by 4,300 mt.
